The purpose of Nehemiah Ministries, most broadly stated, is to help Christians realize their personal potential. More specifically, we aim to help believers better appreciate God’s unique design of their lives, to better recognize his guidance in their major and minor decisions, to have the wisdom to set constructive goals, and to find the courage and motivation to take important steps of faith. Through the teaching and writing of Dr. M. Blaine Smith, we seek to provide insight and inspiration toward these ends.

While we strive to help Christians resolve decisions and pursue goals in all areas of their lives, we have a special concern with providing single Christians practical direction toward finding someone to marry, and with helping them decide whether to marry once they are in a serious relationship. We also seek to help Christians deal with unreasonable fears that may be holding them back from God’s best—in all areas, and regarding the decision to marry, the fear of commitment.

We also give strong focus in our ministry to encouragement, and to helping Christians better appreciate the grace of God and the power of Christ in their lives—believing that Christians who are truly encouraged in Christ will be most productive for him in all areas. To this end, we give special attention to how emotions and spirituality interrelate in the Christian life, and to helping Christians build strong friendships and relationships.

The primary purpose of our online ministry is to provide a generous selection of articles and reprinted book chapters that offer help in these specific areas. We also provide information on all of Blaine Smith’s books, and the opportunity to order them online.
